The collaborated embroidery work reflects on the history of Spruchtücher – a traditional embroidered wall hangings with moral quotes. ‘Fortress Europe’ is echoed through an assemblage of several motives, with the Saint Teresa of Avila in the center with a quote from the film ‘Sound of Music’, guarded by baby angels with rifles.
