Dance for the Future

We are here to do the work, not just witness!
The collectively created performance invites the visitors to join and open up for change, not to change for something new, but rather to remember: remember the knowledge of the past, of the ancestors; to come together, cast a spell to call the White Lady, being in a collective that would protect in times of vulnerability, loneliness and grief. Be it an island, the deep sea, it is inviting, not to celebrate, but to help and shake the space together.
In this collaboration, I challenged myself within my performative and visual work to create an atmosphere of visuals on the stage, that would question the intersection of reality and far away places. A possibility of dissensus in a visual language, that shows itself throughout the glitches of the images, a rupture to crack into the linear story-tellings and histories, to feel the ghosts around us, in times of invisibilities, in order to bond with them and with each other in a collective.
